Yep. The exhaust is one off. The guy that did the conversion did a great job. Bike handles really nice.

In that case! Its the part (arm) that attaches the rear wheel to the frame of the bike. Single side is self explanatory. Its often referred to here as SA or SSA here.

I live in Benson (30 min SE of Raleigh), and Jim is from here, but he did buy the bike from someone on the Net so it's a good possibility that it's the same bike you speak of.
