Sad Day

So today I went looking at hondas motorcycle site and realized that the f4i is not on the roster for '07!!! Say it ain't so. Last year I purchased a '06 and love it, it's everything and then some I expected from Honda. I need a 600cc bike with good comfort, performance, and looks. I got it in the F4i. I looked at the 600rr and one of the major complaints I had was ergonomics and passenger comfort. I was more than willing to give up a few horsepower for comfort. I hope that honda realizes the mistake they made and come back with something as well rounded as the F4i, maybe a 800cc version. Here's to hoping.

I think alot of R&D is going on right now, Almost all of the manufacturers have dropped a model or 2 with no new models popping up aside from the Duc 1098.

I am hoping they do a sport tourer for '08 that will take the VFR and F4i's niche. I hope it rocks and doesn't have the linked brakes or V-tech crap...

Moved to Honda section.

I'm sure there are other things you can ride from honda... what about the 919 or the Interceptor?

Actually that is the bike I was looking at next. There is a few problems with it though like the fact that it makes the same power as a f4i but weighs 100 lbs more. Also the price was a major decision. The VFR says sport touring, the f4i said to me comfort and speed. The f4i fit the bill for me perfect as far as price, comfort, and performance. If they add about 25hp to the VFR I would give it a serious look.

yOU'RE NOT WILLING to look for a used one? Scratch that. Why would you want a '07 when you have a '06?

I was actually looking at buying another f4i in '08 when this one is payed off. This one is going to my gf and I wanted to get another one for myself. I thought about getting a used one but by then the newest I could get would be 3 years old. Also there is something about buying a brand new bike off the showroom floor that you can't get buying used. Oh well I guess I will just have to wait and see what honda does.

Maybe I'll see the AMA version today. They're practicing two miles away from my work. I rolled by and the Yammie, Honda and Kawi trucks were already there. I got off at 3PM, so maybe I'll catch a glimpse.
