power commander question for me 954rr

I found a used power commander for my bike, $100.00 bucks. If they dont have the software that comes with it can i get it easily or am i better off to pass on it. And also has anyone ever had any problems with these, do they go bad fairly easy or anything???????

yeah i bet gettin it tuned would help out a lot, im just trying to get a little more hp outta mine, with my full micron, but who knows it could be a waste of money,
and also ive had a few ppl try to sell them to me for $300.00, is there some reason they want more, is it a different model because you can get them just about any where for 259.00?

Dyno tuned is always the best. A well tuned bike wont feel that much stronger due to the smooth power delivery but the numbers don't lie. Maps from the net do help the power. Bang for the buck???? That's depends on what you need from the bike.

yea, i just want whats best for my bike. i dont want to be riding it really lean or really rich. i ride the **** out of it and dont want to be doing too much damage to the motor just because i put an exhaust and PC on it. i think its running rich though. thats not as bad as running lean, right??

Rich is a lil better than lean. Most ECM upgrades will richen the fuel. Thats their primary job.

You forgot to say that your son is going to college in Nigeria and you are currently in London for business...

At least that was the Bob Smith that bid and won one of my PS2 auctions...
