Rc51....

I passed an RC51 today...I was in my wife's car and he was going the opposite direction. It was the most incredible sounding motorcycle I've every heard in my life. A rumble like no other. It has some kind of aftermarket pipes on it...I couldn't tell from 50mph...but they could have been Arrow's.

Man I want a twin.

I may do a little digging around for a nice RC51 when I'm ready to trade up. It's a shame that they stopped making them.

I'd buy the pink bike too. its not unmanly, unless you make it that way. the RC51 is a sweet bike, sounds wicked too.

the last model of the RC51 wasn't my favorite graphics scheme, but the 04 models were the ****. I would love to add one to the collection (thats right, I'll never sell the RR, I'll just go into debt again after I've paid it off).

I was down at Putnam near Indianapolis today working as the pit crew for Twisty...he's got the sweetest RC51 I've ever seen/heard. '06, full Akrapovic Ti exhaust, redlines at 12,500 (stock is 9,500), and eats Buell's while sh*tting Ducs...puts out more HP than the 1098... don't ask the price after mods (well it's still less than the 1098).

Just wait, the next gen RC will come. And eventually the long awaited V5...

A replica of the RC211v would be incredible...and expensive. How was the pit crew thing? I'm sure it was pretty killer.

The V5 is their current MotoGP motor...all the need to do is detune it a bit for the street, we can expect something putting out massive torque and something over 170 HP (like Aprilia's upcoming '08 180 HP V5 bike)

I need to get you a video of this local guy I know that has a RC51. It is the meanest sounding bike I have ever heard. He can whip that thing through the gap at a pretty good clip too.

Twisty's or Ace's? I've seen Twisty's street RC51 and that exhaust rocked. Not sure what brand but they were the high mount titanium oval cans.
