this guy isn't all that far from me and im looking for an early 600 and for a thousand bucks its not bad. but is this whole 'conversion' thing an issue?

Seen it done before, someone on the board is doing something similar, I will try to find the post. Probably put it down and wanted a fun project. I would really check it out with a fine tooth comb before you purchase it.

thats just it Im a pretty big newb when it comes to bikes. maybe i'll convince jaalan to ride his ass to my hood and check it out. hell i'll pay for gas!

I almost know what I'm doing around bikes and I wouldn't buy it. He's got F4 fairings, but they're scraped. F4 gauges, but they don't work. Changed the original comfy seats for rock hard ones. He didn't stunt it, but before him, who knows? Forget it. Keep looking.

All that "custom" chit, and "I can tell you how to fix it" I'll call
Unless you want to tear it down and completely rebuild it. And I wouldn't give him $1500 for it
