2006 f4i questions

I am wondering if anyone has removed the p.a.i.r valve on there f4i? This seems to be a common mod on the 600rr. What are the advantages/disadvantages? Also does anyone know if the f4i comes with a metal screen on the stock filter? If so would removing this add more power and let more air into the engine? Final question do the f4i's have velocity stacks or no? If so has anyone modded these?. Also how-to's on theses would be great. thanks.

I don't believe they have velocity stacks. If you had those you wouldn't have a air box.

Further, I don't think the screening really is hurting the CFM's.

And I have never did anything with a pair vlv...
