two choices... need help!

what do yall think?

2003 CBR600RR for about $5k and 9500mi on it

or

2006 CBR600R4i for 11,800 out the door with all gear, brand new?

Im torn because I love the looks and feel of the RR (yes it feels different to me, weird I know). My buddy just bought a CBR1000RR for 12,000 out the door from the same place and I just dont know about the F4i and the color etc... Opinions on both?

Thanks,
Jared

The F4i is a better all-around bike, but hasn't changed much from 1999. So a used one would be a better deal. The RR is a terrific bike, but has the same problem (to me) as most of the 600 race bikes. There's nobody home under 6,000 rpm.

But I like the looks of the RR over the F4i.

the 99 and 00 were carberated i would say thats a lot diffrent then the 01-06 which were fuel injected the only reall differance between the 01-03 and 04-06 is that the 01-03 had a split seat and the 04-06 had a banana seat if you like the split seat look you can do a conversion the subrame has to be replaced its not hard though from what i hear.

the rr has a more agrasive seat position then the f4i and from what i have heard slightly better handeling then the f4i but unless you use it on the track. but thats just what i been told. i also like the looks of the f4i better but thats probly cuase i own one.

yeah its not worth paying that much for an f4i. get an 01-03 model of the f4i, you could get it for around $5K I think.

are you including taxes in that price trip? that does seem high for an 06 even with taxes though

yea, I pertty much ditched the idea of the 06.

I found an 05 cbr600rr for $6500 with 3500 on it. Im looking at it on friday and I was already approved for a loan of $7000 at 7.49% interest... Fl is a bit more expensive for bikes I take it?
