2008 Cbr1000rr?

Probably not but it looks cool. No more undertail exhaust? And did they really change the turn signal design?

You don't polish chrome. You polish polished metals.

I like the look. Looks good. I wonder if everybody is going to go to the small and low muffler styles...

They can't produce bikes for the public that don't have a hideous fender. They have to meet DOT standards for signal/brake light placement.

Luckily on my bike they expected you to track it so they made it easily removable by unplugging a wire and loosening four nuts

Yea they should make i so ya dont need to buy a undertail kit n chyt. Just a relocater kit for the tag, n your choice of signals.

And yea prolly close with all the current top sport bikes. Since they are almost race ready aready like 90/10 aint it

No. All you need it a tail light and a plate that is visible. you dont need turn signals or reflectors.

That depends on what state you are in. GA requires turn signals. Reflectors are

You need signals here. Reflectors don't seem to be a problem.

so bikes must be produced with a fender, but the DOT doesn't care if you remove it as soon as you roll it off the lot. that doesnt make much sense to me...

Thats right

Just like all the non DOT approved exhaust 90% of us run

The manufacturers have specific guidelines they must meet when producing vehicles to the general public. You'd be surprised at the diff in public vehicles and military ones
