2000 Cbr929?

Whats everyone think about a 2000 CBR929rr? I may be getting one tomorrow. A guy has a nice one for about 4600 bucks, its got 8500 miles and very few scratches. Looks very nice to me. What do yall think about the bike and the price I'm gunna pay for it??

He was asking 5K for it. So he's already gone down a little for me. 4600$$ is about as high as I can go, so I'll be tight on cash for a few weeks after the purchace, but I think its worth it.

Very nice! I've always loved the 929. And it's in my favorite color too! Yellow! with the sell!

Alright! I've been trying to figure out how much it was worth, thanks. I'm taking off work tomorrow so I can make the 2 hour drive to pick it up. I hope it doesn't rain here in Florida tomorrow.

Nice bike and nice deal. That seems like a good price to me. Doesn't show any signs of being down from the pics...atleast from what I can see.

Got the bike
I love it so far. I ended up paying 4700$ for it. It was down once, but very minor sratches that can barely be seen in the pics. There not even dug into the paint so they should buff out. My only complaint is the throttle sticks just a little bit. I'm gunna take it to the dealer here and have it tuned up this week.
Oh ya, it did rain on me for the last 45 minutes of my trip home yesterday but it was worth it.

45 min rain ride on a bike that is new to you... not a good thing. Glad you made it home ok! Congrads on the bike!

I pulled over at a gas station for about 30 minutes but it wouldn't
stop raining so I went for it. Everything was fine except I was
very cold.

I also just got done washing the bike and really checking it out good.
I noticed that I'm going to need a new front tire because it is wearing
kind of weird. It has a couple spots in it that are uneven. I'm gunna take
it for a tune up on Tuesday hopefully.

you said it was down once, and front tire is wearing weird.... i would have shop check front end make sure forks are straight, and and tripple clamps are not out of wack..... that stuff can get tweaked from just falling over just a thought
