LED lights

is it stupid/ squidly / illegal / to put LEDs on your bike? like the accent kind?

I personally dont care for LED lights, to each their own though. I dont know about the legality, that depends on your specific state and local laws. check with your town hall/city government to find out if its illegal.

I just put a LED brake light in mine, I like it a lot. It is MUCH brighter then the stock light. It also has the intergrated turn signals in the light as well. I love it, looks sweet and I feel much secure knowing that the light is very bright a the turn signals as well. It's an eye catcher for sure. Most of the Hotbodies undertails has LED lights built in them. I like mine, most of the guys I ride with are changing out to LED's also. Go for it

Yeah...I'm down with LED tails and signals...but the colored joints man...not my thing.

Led lights that come on when you brake are nice safety lights.
Check out Blink blink lights nice safety feature

I don't usually go for the accent lighting. Most if not all will say that its for show only. That means your not supposed to use them while on the street. Most Cops wont bother you about it unless your getting a whole lot worse to start with.
