Looks like the boat is trying to launch the truck...onto pavement. It's usually the other way around, but oh well.

Look at the dude by the edge of the water and the launch ramp. I wonder if he's the owner.

the boat and truck look like they are quite a ways from shore. We one time had the parking brake give out on my buddies truck and it only went in about 3/4s of the way, the motor was still out of the water so we ran a hose to the exhaust pipe, when we tried to drive out she wouldn't move, because the whole bed was obviously full of water and quite heavy and the ground was pretty slippery. So fired up the boat and the using the boat motor to help push (just a little) and the truck we got the wheels back on dry land, then unhooked the boat and drove the truck out. A little water damage to cab of the truck at the back of the cab but nothing too serious. It worked pretty good but those guys are a LOT farther in than he was. Oh and in case you were wondering yes it was in gear but it was a stick and it just pulled it right back into hte water when the brake went. Now we leave someone in the tow vehicle at all times.

Why would you need to run a hose to the exaust pipe? Wouldn't the motor just blow bubbles? I can't see how a couple of feet of water pressure is going to push water inside the cylinders when the piston is pushing air out.

Just curious. And, about the pic.....

:BAHA:
When the motor dies from lack of air. It will suck water in instead. Anything that holds fluids has to be drained, flushed and refilled with correct fluids and most electric stuff will have to be replaced. This totals most vehicles.
