This has been discussed before... any laptop can have this happen... if you get the battery acid too hott it CAN blow up!

Further I Dell for stepping up to the issue!

Why shouldn't they??? It's Sony's batteries that are the problem...

Yeah, just informing that someone is actually recalling the batteries and you can get a free new one.
