I take it being in florida the screened in pool is a must for the bugs?
Thanks.... we love it.
Ohhhh yeah, MUST have a screened in pool, or at least a screened porch to enjoy your yard at all in Summertime. Even with the screen, we light 4 big citronella 3-wick candles about half an hour before heading out to swim... those little gnats are a PITA!!
Also, as many big trees as we have in the back yard (and over hanging the pool), keeping that thing clean would be a NIGHMARE.
Ok here are pics of one of my other projects.... The house. I bought this place as a fixer upper becuase I love old houses, and I like remodeling. Unfortuatly, 3 days before my closing my NG unit went on alert for deployment. Mess up my plans a bit. Here are the before pictures of the exterior.
And here are the after pics: I hired the siding out before I deployed, so the house was secure and easy maintenance for my mother. The block retaining wall I did this spring. The dirt corner, is actually newly planted ground cover and a new rose bush... the previous owners just had white stones in there. And it tooke me about five days to get in the glass block windows. Each window was a different size, and the Motar was bad between the stones framing the old wooden windows... It was a lot of work. I also upgraded the plumbing when I got back from my deployment. It was rusted galvanized piping, it's now copper with an on-demand hot water heater.
