Children in the house...

You know you have children in the house when.....?

you have to move all the toys out the tub before you take a shower.

...you get 1/2 way to your destination and realize you are still listening to the ABCs cd (or barney, etc) that you were playing for the kids...and you are humming along!!

when you turn your bike on, does it return the favor?

Yup these reasons and more (ie kids screaming in restaurants, malls and airplanes) are reasons I do not want kids. lol But it sure is fun reading about you guys. Earlzach ur lil boy is really cute though.

Focus is the ability to believe in your goal even as your path twists and turns.

only parents know that all kids act up in restaurants etc. one time or another. we can see the pained look on the other parents faces and commiserate, instead of criticize.

when you turn your bike on, does it return the favor?

you are shopping and hear a child crying and you turn to look, even though you know your kids aren't with you.

the holidays roll around and all the presents your parents sent are for the kids and all you get is a gift card.

Rubber bands...my Dad used them on us...I use them...when out in public and kids start to act up...give them a snap on the leg or arm under the table, with a rubber band...after the 2nd or 3rd time...all you have to do is show it to them and they start behaving...
