ATTN: ls1ssws6...

you need to clear out some old PMs. i tried PMing you, but it said you have exceded your stored limit. i'll just paste my response to your questions here and any other correspondence between you and i will be via PM, if you clean out your box.

my response to your questions:

1)so when you pop in the dvd it basically burns it onto your harddrive then you insert the dvd and it copies from the hardrive to the dvd and then you delete it after the dvds dont making?
A: pretty much, although i have never deleted any copied movie from my computer. not sure quite where it goes after copying, never really thought about it. i just burn it right away, so i guess i just figure it hangs in limbo there while i do. i'll hafta investigate it more, but that is the general idea.

2)you have a dell im guessing and use the dvd43 and the 1 click dvd? i see the 1 click dvd for 59.99 is that how much you paid?
A: yes i have a dell and i did buy the $59.99 program

3)lastly when you burn a dvd does it play in most dvd players? and when you put it in it has the menus and chapters and everything like the regular dvd?
A: it plays in all dvd players i have tried so far. it does copy the menus and chapters just like the original dvd.

thanks for the cyberbeer! that's good enough for me. let me know how you make out.

I know this isn't directed to me but, you need to delete any movie files you can. They seriously slow your PC down. The should be in a folder tagged with something from your rip software.

Anything you rip is saved. Check movie and vid folders too.

Most software I've seen saves this data in a special folder attached to the program for easy access.

You can do a basic search from the start menu for mepg and such files.

You should do a defrag and disk cleanup afterwards too.
