HELL NO. I worked for a Ford dealership for 3 years as a salesman and finance manager. I would never buy one of those pieces of crap.

must not be as tough as the older ones then. I drove an 83 model once, toughest thing on 4 wheels just shy of a hummer.

The old school F150s are solid as a rock. That I can tell you. But once the 96 and newer models came out, they turned out to be crap.

well, I guess I've never noticed since I'm a die hard Ford guy. given an 01 F350 with the 7.3 PSD I'd drive to the ends of the earth and back all the time.

Now the F250 and higher trucks are great trucks. Its just the 150 series isnt as built as good as the heavy duty trucks. I would definitely buy a Ford deisel over the cummings or chevy diesel.

That is true... till they came out with the new ones in 2004. I have one... and it is hands down the best truck I have ever drove!

Thanks. They get about 15 in city and 22 hwy. Not the best mileage truck but I only live less than a mile from work.

Titans are cool... The Toyotas are nice too... But... Did you check out the Honda Ridgeline? My dad's been a big Ford truck guy, but fell in love with the Ridgeline... I must say, after driving it... I totally want one!

Kick ass Bird. I picked up the 06 Frontier 4x4 with the 265hp V-6 in April. I absolutely love it. Been to 4 track days and down to the gap with the bike either in back or a couple on a trailer. I shopped ALL around when I was looking, for a few months, and nothing could compare to the price of the frontier for what I wanted. Closest was a Ford Ranger 4x4 with A-plan, but even that was more.

and yeah psycho, the Toyota's are REAL nice too, but they aren't any cheaper than the rest anymore, now that they have had great sales the past few years. Especially on the Tacoma.

Nice new Titan! I was looking at those last year, but I have to hang on to my 04 Colorado for at least another year. I'm still stuck between the new F150 and the Titan.
