I think he is not the greatest of leaders, but he gets more crap than deserved... He's made major mistakes, but so has every other president... What hurts him most is the fact that he is a horrible public speaker... I don't think he is a stupid person, but he is incompetent as a politician...

As I have stated before, what makes a politician good... err... proficient... is the ability to perform acts of prestidigitation... Bill Clinton was a pheonominal politician and that's why so many people liked him... They forgot about all the horrible crap and focused on the things that don't matter... The man was an artist...

The bottom line is, nobody becomes president because it pays well... it doesn't... They become president for a few reasons... Somtimes because it allows them a chance to influence the course of history and leave a legacy for themselves... Or it allows the unique chance to further their ideology by fooling others into buying into a specific point of view, all the while lining your buddies' pockets so when your term is up they can make sure you are fat paid for the rest of your natural life...

Sometimes it works out well for everyone, sometimes it works out well for you (the Pres.)... and sometimes it just doesn't work out...

Does anyone else think its kind of funny that his/her first post is this one.

Why don't you say hi and introduce yourself before you come on here trying to start an argument?

If it was an honest mistake then its ok.

i agree.. too bad he was the lesser of evils at election time.. (a turd sandwich or a giant douche.. not much of a choice..)

the truth of this administrations political motivations wont be known for years.. although some are obvious(secure the family fortune).. but are overshadowed by the debacle of Iraq at this time..

IMO, it gonna take years to get back the face that the US used to portray..

I hate going abroad now.. I look over my shoulder most of the time in airports.. it wasnt like that 10yrs ago.. back then we were called wasteful, now we're called wasteful and incompetent..

we need a real live politician to fix this (hopefully without so much big business influence..) and its gonna take years..

We need a real live politician to help us? Are you kidding? They are the ones who killed this system of government to begin with. While I agree ties to big business make to many conflicting interests it is those people who have proven themselves best capable to lead and direct a country.

All the politicians I know (Dem & Republican) are power hungry, say anything to get elected, dont have a clue morons.

This country was founded by business men, plantation owners, military men, and 230 years of pork barrel, double dealing, lying for their own interest, get to the top by any means politicians have turned our democracy into a bureacracy.

Now then as for Bush...I think Reggie Bush is one of the finest running backs ever drafted into the NFL and someday will be called to the Hall in Ohio!
