Evanescence CD preview

the new cd doesn't drop for another week, but AOL has a preview of it. i love evanescence and i am greatly anticipating this cd, even moreso now that i've listened to it. i'm actually gonna buy this one.

they definately sound a bit edgier, if you ask me.

check it out here:

Does it sound the same now that Ben Moody is gone? He wrote all the music. I cant believe it would sound like the first CD.

lyrically, it isn't as entrancing as the last album...but they drown that out with louder, heavier guitars. you just can't beat amy lee's voice though. she could mesmerize me singing the abc's.

Yup, from what I heard, that was about the gist of it.

I wasn't too wild about the last album, but I've heard the new single, and reaaally really like it.

you didn't like the last cd?! i loved it!!! it was so ethereal, it always entranced me listening to it. this new cd coulda used more piano though to keep that whole classical/goth rock vibe going. i dig it!!

Some of it was okay, but much of it was almost too over-dramatic, like she was trying too hard. I dunno, just wasn't bowled over by it... I wanted to like it, but got kinda burned out on them rather quickly.

But I'm impressed with the new song... curious to listen to the rest of the disc.

I thought she was going out with the lead singer of Seether. She was at one time anyway.

i havent heard it yet but did love the old one, the only thing bothered me was that all the songs sounded alike...but i still rock it with the car top down

and she was going out with the guy from seether, then he got put in rehab, they broke up, blah blah...she was only friends with the guy who left...an interview I read said they basically didnt get along all that great, it was his way or no way...that concludes your Rae ET report...

Go get one! at least one of the plug and play units. That way you can take it with you no mater what vehicle you take.

BTW
I have an old working unit F/S.
