Finaly found my dads photos

Some of you may know that my dad past away in the beginning of this year. I was going through some of his things today & came across his photo album. I was hoping that he still had a picture I took of him while driving, he did About a year ago, my daughter took the same kind of pic of me without knowing what I had done so many years ago. The irony was heart warming to me, to say the least.

Anyway I found his photos & made a new wallpaper. His bike was a '79 Honda CBX1000 (a 6 cylinder monster! Top of the line in it's day). He painted the exaust himself & refused large $ from others to do the same to theirs.

That's a pretty cool comparison. My dad died a few years ago. It's still hard to deal with.

add me to the 'deceased dad' club. mine passed away 3 years ago from an auto accident. it is a void that will never be filled. but their legacy lives on through us.

i love the pics chappy! it's great to see the wonderful influence that our parents have had on us by sharing the same interests. hopefully that is something you and your daughter will get to experience as well. the similarities are already there.

for sharing this with us.

Coolest Dad ever! Sounds like a pretty cool daughter, too!
I lost a brother two years ago. I have a picture of him on an old chopped Honda on top of my TV. It makes me remember that he had some pretty cool times during his life.
Thanks for the cool pictures.
