Chevy parts.

Can anybody get deals on Chevy parts? I have a '00 S-10 with a bad positive wire harness. The dealer quoted the part at 112 bucks and had the balls to charge me 520 parts/labor to install it. F them. I'm trying to see if I can get one cheaper and install it myself. TIA.

Why did you post this in the beginners corner? I moved it. And I can't get no deals.

Dude, everything on a S-10 is bad.

j/k (but seriously...S-10's suck)
You should try Jeg's or Summit Racing. I don't know if they'll have it any cheaper, though. Painless wiring harnesses are kind of the aftermarket standard and they usually cost around there.
You should be able to replace it yourself, though. All the harnesses are usually pretty clear as to where they go, just do them one at a time like with spark plug wires, so you can keep track.

For $600 I could get you the whole truck. dents, oil leak and all. S10's are junk in every way.
