F*ck Rossi, glad to see an American as the champ.

Good job Nicky for bringing the trophy to the states!

I wish he could have come in first, but I'm thrilled he's won the championship!

I can't talk to you anymore, you are a gaytor fan. I hope Darth Visor takes em out. I always liked Steve even when he was at Florida. I like him even more now that he is a cock though.

Ah, it's a lesser of evils thing. I just dislike GA, that's all.

I'll never forget when I first moved to Columbia, SC, I about fell over when I saw a grown man walking through the mall with a sweatshirt that read "GO COCKS!" on it. (as far as I was -- an still am -- concerned, the only USC that matters is So Cal!)

Yeah I am not a fan of cocks. I don't like em or rout for them. I know the trojans would cover up the cocks for sure.

I am a tennessee grad, so hating florida teams just comes natural to me.

Hater. Good on Rossi for finishing the race. Excellent race for Bayliss and great job for Hayden.

This just in. Pedrosa was seen in the Camel Yamaha pits adjusting tire pressure on Rossi's bike. Consider Hayden paid back. I'm still pissed he went down.

I'm just pissed that it wasn't a dog-fight to the end. That's what I was hoping for, both Nicky and Val had a lot on the line and I wanted to see a big-ass battle in the last 5 laps. I'm glad Nicky won for the USA, but I'm disappointed that Rossi couldn't pull out being the sole victor in the 990 era. My hope now is that Nicky winning for America will mean more coverage of racing and more interest in the sport in general (kinda like "the Lance effect" for pedal biking).

I don't hate Rossi, but I will always pull for an American over him. Nicky winning should mean more coverage of our sport in the USA and get some people's attention over here. It helps to have a winner to raise the sport's awareness.

Add to that... Nicky has that 'aw, shucks ma'am' appeal... he's real, and you can relate to him. He doesn't have any sign of arrogance like Rossi has. He seems truly awed by not only his own success in the sport, but of the skills of the riders around him. It's impossible to not like him.

Rossi is hardly arrogant. What makes you say that?

He put up 1 hell of a fight the last few races. Too many mistakes this season at the wrong time. Just wasnt Rossi's year. He is still the best rider though!

He just comes across as arrogant to me. I know he's extremely talented and I don't argue his skill in the sport, but I've always kinda disliked him because of the arrogance (perceived or not)
