Don't you just HATE finding your dream house...

at the WRONG time!!! AAAARRRGGHHH!!!! I found the house and land that I absolutely LOVE, in a GREAT location, but it's out of my stinking price range at this time. I'm sure I could afford it in about 5 years, but it's on the market NOW. Dammit!!!!!

i was going to ask the same question... that and does it have a basement or is it just built on a slab foundation... central air and vac or not...

Up in MA something like that would be around $800,000 with the amount of land seen in the pic near worcester...to over a million mill + 1/2 if it were closer to boston/needham/stowe area..

Housing in Ga is cheap. Ive been looking there. One of my coworkers just bought a huge house in Bainbridge for just over 240k. I think its close to 3k sq ft.

don't forget a garage both garage and basement are the quenessential man space which is important to me because i have much man paraphenalia such as a bike, tools, racing posters, various souvenirs from race spectating, pooltable, etc. you can always tell a badly whipped man when his wife not only has the entire house decorated but has a bunch of her girlie junk in the basement and garage.

True! And I highly prefer attached garages... when I'm doing projects I must go in & out of my garage a hundred times. Sometimes wearing just boxers, t-shirt, and slippers.... that wouldn't be much fun if I had to walk to the garage thru the snow!

Ditto. An attached garage is a MUST. Right now, I can live without a basement, but would HATE to live without a garage.
