what do you guys think of these pig spotter mirrors? are they hot or not? anyone have any? i wonder how functional they are? might be considering some for my bike. they couldn't be much worse to see cars (or my elbows) than the stock ones right?

Why would you want mirrors that make it impossible to see behind you with?

Seriously, they look good but I'm sure they serve little function for seeing behind you.

Yeah, they look really cool but they're even less functional than OEM.

These thing are useless for anything except looking at. Not looking through.
They are great for the people that don't like mirrors. They can usually slip by inspection stations meeting the requirements to have them.

I saw a 2005 Kawi with them, it looks really stupid and when I sat on it, the only thing that I was able to see was myself. But other than that, they are stupid.

Gotta be able to see when your about to get a$$ packed to get out of the way - I've seen some close calls that if people werent watching their mirrors at a stop light they would be nothing more than a hood ornament right now.

Yes, thats how I feel. I have ridden without mirrors but that uneasy feeling of not knowing what's behind you or coming up on you was enough to put them back on.

I find myself ridding with out them just before and/or after track days. I usually put the back on immediately but some times there isn't enough time to do so. The next street ride after reinstall is much more enjoyable.

I saw them on a bike and the guy actually let me sit on his bike to check them out...They are like the blind spot mirrors you have on your car. They give you an idea of what's behind you but not as good as your mirrors. I liked them and if they offered them for my bike I would get them...but that's just my $.02...

I've seen the both ways. Normal flat and round/curved just like a blind spot mirror.

Those mirrors suck big time. If your not worrying about seeing behind you, well those will do the trick!
