What do men really like to get for Christmas....

Ah, yes, it's that time of year.... time to soak in all the commercialism of the holiday season and start stressing about gift-buying.

So the girls on one of my women's rider forums are already starting to about what to buy their men for Christmas... But since this forum is quite male-dominated, I'll pose the question to you guys... what do YOU want for Christmas. And don't give me the usual "b**wjob," "a threesome", etc.... I mean seriously..... what would you like your wife or GF to get you? Car stuff? Bike stuff? Gear? A trackday? Clothes? Computer stuff? iPod?

My wife doesn't know what or how to buy for my wish list.

I want a Jardine CF Slip on exhaust and Powercommander, but will end up with a couple of pairs of jeans or shirts. Maybe some tools. She means well but has no clue what I like for gifts.

It is OK though cause she is great to me year round and is the best wife and mother I could hope for. My first wife got me anything I wanted for Christmas and then ignored me the rest of the year

What makes me happiest is buying for her and the kids. I can treat myself to guilty pleasures the rest of the year. Christmas is about making them smile

My X had this figured out. She would just ask me to list a few good things and then tell me not to buy them for my self. Sometimes I would get it all and others only part. I'm really going to miss my annual gift certificate to the MC shop from my Mother in-law too.

That's pretty much what we do around our house. About the 1st of November (or a couple months before our respective birthdays), we give each other a list of all KINDS of items we want (wide variety) with the understanding that we're not allowed to buy it for ourselves once we've listed it.

But then we're both also good at coming up with surprise items not on the lists.

(AND.... Three Wishes.com just sent out an email today on their new Naughty Santy/Christmas lingerie offerings.... )

I just say what I want... and she gets it for me... She doesn't make decisions ever so I usually fly blind a little for what to get her...

we buy our own gifts and put them under the tree with the other's name on it...After 15 Xmases...this works for both of us...we pretty much buy what we want throughout the year so mainly, the girls clean up...I think this year we may pool our gift money and buy a flat panel TV we can hang on the wall in our bedroom...

You need one for the living room too. Its kinda hard to see your tv without a magnifying glass.

Finally back on 2 wheels

I'm going to ask for a "motivational" photo album of her for those nights that we don't get to spend together when one of us is out of town...

Or how about a calendar? I know a couple of the girls on another board did that for their S.O.'s last year, and they turned out

But if she DID buy you what you actually want, what would you ask her for?

That would be nice too! Now you're thinking along the right lines. I'm asking for it but IF we get things like that as a surprise it's even better!

So drop subtle hints...Fib, and say something along the lines of, "A guy on one of the boards said his wife made her very own pin-up motorcycle calendar for him.... all sort of different outfits, etc... isn't that HOT????" and gauge her reaction... that way, you're not coming out and asking for it, but you're planting the seed.......

(then again, there's nothing wrong with the direct approach, "hey, it'd be SOOOO hot if you....." She'll love that you want to over her all year long! )
