"They'll have to go somwhere else..." OK,Yea...we don't need firemen anyway... What we do need,is to pay football players onehundredbazzilliondollars to break their pinkies two weeks into the season... What the hell is wrong with this country??? You know this thing with Kramer really has me pizzed too..Why is it Chappell can do the skits he does, like people yappin during shows or movies,w/ the use of the "n"word as he does and its all good???

Why, exactly, are they closing a fire station??? They said something about accounting practices and record keeping, but WTF, doesn't the county run the fire dept.??? Unless it's different in Pennsylvania.

BTW, I saw the video just fine. Nothing wrong with it here. Good job Marko

A fire station should be one of the last things that should ever be closed.

well, it's not like it was the only fire station in hanover. we have more, it's just gonna be a different one servicing the borough. i'm sure we'll get the same good response, just from a different station.

First of all...it's only video and audio to me. I could care less what the facts are...but from what I understand there was some real shady business going down. Youngbucks came in and didn't carry on the tradition of the older guys and started doing things they shouldn't. The borough gave them opportunity to get on the straight and narrow but they didn't comply. So they got shut down.

As itgirl mentioned there are several other fire company's within the town so and that station and it's equipment have been comandeered by another company so repsonse time will be largely the same.

And... for the kind words. I get paid to make pictures.

So the tax payers will be saving some dough? Sounds like the firestation was a waste of taxpayer money if it wont be missed.

Who knows? Maybe itgirl would know better than I do. Hanover's almost an hour from Harrisburg...so I dont know much about the town...but there are several Volunteer stations and several Paid stations. This, I believe, was a volunteer gig.

We do audits of some governments and not for profits. Never seen a firestation get completely shut down but have seen almost everyone fired for some shaddy stuff before. And you wont get a refund on your taxes.
