My Jacksonville, FL Adventure!
For the ones who don't know that I had an experience with my bike during Veterans Day weekend (Refer to post #25)
, I went to J'ville to pick up my bike today.....Leaving GA at noon. Made it there in an 1hr 45 min, loaded up my bike and was headed down 95 north. Right before the Pecan park exit, my trailer began to shake out of control. Well I pull over to a gas station and I caught a flat tire on the trailer. No problem, the flee market is 1 mile down the road and I know I can get a tire there. Well, the place that sells tires at the flee market burned down a few weeks ago. So I head to wally world (Walmart) to purchase a tire and rim set. Well they have the tire/rim set for trailers but it's the wrong size. So now I jump back in the truck, drive back to the gas station (which is now closed by the way), remove the tire and take it back to wally world to have them put on the tire (at the price of $49.00). What I thought was going to take maybe 10 minutes, took about an hour
Got the tire, headed back to the closed gas station (no lights on I might add) and put the tire on my trailer and headed back to GA. Now this whole trip should have only taken 4 hours round trip tops, but it turns out that it has taken me about 8 1/2 hours..........
