Yeah, watching that video made me wonder if Lexus even tried it before bringing it to market.

i'm sure this car will come in quite handy if you ever need to parallel park between 2 pyramids of champagne glasses (like in the commercial).

I think that video is accurate in depicting how much of a pain in the ass it is to use. There is no way the car will be able to park as good or nearly as quick as a human. Although its a good idea, the technology just isnt there yet.

Hmmm... That might explain why it was unable to park between 2 cars... and why the engineers thought this was a good idea.

Yea it went public awhile ago. I like it just because in 6 years it will be standard on most new cars and I dont have to stop in the street waiting on all the idiots who cant parallel park. If you dont live in a big city or if you do and dont go downtown alot you cant truly appreciate it lol.

edit: Me and some friends are also wondering what happens when it Fs up and rams someones mercedes. Do you have to pay for it, your insurance, or Lexus?
