Self-Parking Lexus!

Maybe you heard about this new feature on the 2007 LS460. Here it is in action. Pretty sweet!

Yeah, watching that video made me wonder if Lexus even tried it before bringing it to market.

No doubt. That was absolutely insane. Which side of the street are we parking on?? That side. No, it's red, we need it on that side. Wait. Yeah, that's it. No it's not. Somebody turn off that fekking music!!

Surrender the booty, and let me get my hands on that beautiful treasure chest!!

One of these days, I'll actually buy a bike again...

i'm sure this car will come in quite handy if you ever need to parallel park between 2 pyramids of champagne glasses (like in the commercial).

when you turn your bike on, does it return the favor?

I think that video is accurate in depicting how much of a pain in the ass it is to use. There is no way the car will be able to park as good or nearly as quick as a human. Although its a good idea, the technology just isnt there yet.

Hmmm... That might explain why it was unable to park between 2 cars... and why the engineers thought this was a good idea.

Yea it went public awhile ago. I like it just because in 6 years it will be standard on most new cars and I dont have to stop in the street waiting on all the idiots who cant parallel park. If you dont live in a big city or if you do and dont go downtown alot you cant truly appreciate it lol.

edit: Me and some friends are also wondering what happens when it Fs up and rams someones mercedes. Do you have to pay for it, your insurance, or Lexus?
