Lesson of the Day: Ride motorcycles

Funny Story- Probably would have never happened if he rode some motorcycles instead

Parked Cars Could Land Homeowner In Jail

ATLANTA -- A Roswell man is battling city hall over the number of cars he has at his home. A Roswell ordinance limits the number of vehicles that can be seen from the street to four, but Ahzar Zaidi often has more when his children visit from college.

Zaidi is a naturalized United States citizen from Pakistan. A Roswell city judge has found Zaidi guilty of violating a local ordinance that says you can’t have more than 4 cars that can be seen from the street.

“If the laws are not made properly, that means that the people who made these laws are not thinking properly,” said Zaidi.

One of the vehicles he has parked in his driveway is a limousine. Zaidi used to be in the limo business but no more, so he has the vehicle for sale.

“I hope somebody comes and helps me fight this,” said Zaidi.

Zaidi can expect no help from his next door neighbor who bills himself as a prophet.

“He oughta get him a parking club, you know, a big place where he can have a parking lot. Park all these vehicles,” said Cape Jones.

On the other hand, another neighbor, former Forsyth County Assistant D.A. Jeffrey Frazier, is representing Zaidi without charge because, he said, “I have seen first hand the excesses of law enforcement and prosecutors and I want to do whatever I can to put a stop to that.”

There were only 4 vehicles on Zaidi’s property during our visit, but there are 6 when his 2 college children visit from UGA.

Zaidi says, “If a pizza delivery person comes to visit, I’m in violation.”

Zaidi’s attorney has filed for the case to be heard by the Fulton County Superior Court. If the city conviction stands, Zaidi could be facing up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

thats the scariest looking cat I have ever seen!!

To play devils advocate...we dont know the whole situation...perhaps his cars are all parked in the street and its only a one lane street and the neighbors cant get by...or he has some of them up on blocks in his yard or he blocks his neighbors driveway...

just pointing out that it may not be as stupid as ppl think...I live on a very narrow street dead end street and while most of the time we are all considerate, we have had the occasional rude as h3ll neighbor who has done all of the above, even parking in other ppls driveways cuz he had so much crap in his he couldnt get in it!!! (renters thank gawd)

As a homeowner in a nice, quiet, clean subdivision, I want my neighbors to keep their places non-junk yard looking and if you want to see me go friggin insane, try parking in my driveway or on my grass!!!! And if I try and talk to you about it several times and you still dont have consideration for other people, then I may even call the authoritys as a last resort...

As long as he is parking in his driveway, its crap that they are trying to fine or imprison him!!

This should be easy to fix. Just have 5 of your friends visit the judge's house. each driving separately then take a picture of it. bring that picture to court and ask the judge if he is in compliant of the ordinance. case dismissed.

I'd say something to the guy ONE time. After that, F the authorities, that dude is getting towed. I'd just call the closest tow company and say there is a vehicle in my driveway and that I don't know who owns it. Come and get it. Your driveway is private property and you have that right.

Surrender the booty, and let me get my hands on that beautiful treasure chest!!

One of these days, I'll actually buy a bike again...

I could almost under stand if all the cars belonged to him, but Vistors... No way. On top of that there isn't a sidewalk crossing the drive way so they're not blocking anything... I think that's a BS ordinance! I say Kick the Home owner Nazi...
