Second Thoughts

Well today is D-Day for the SV.

I am having serious second thoughts about selling my SV. I love my bike and I have barely cracked the potential with all the brand new mods, but I also want a new 600. 600s have much more potential than the SV, but I am not looking forward to the break in period and losing my Pilot Powers for awhile. Only problem is if I don't get a 600 now, it may be years before I can get a new bike with my fiance wanting a house and the wedding and everything. What do you think? What would you do in my position?

It would be tough to get rid of such a nice bike. But if your situation is such that you wouldn't be able to get another for quite a while...I'd get the new one now. Unless you are ok with the SV for several more years.

But my vote is get the new one. Besides...everyone loves new things.

One more weekend with it and the knee would be down.

Definitely get the new bike now while you can.... you'll still love and miss your SV, but the purr of the new bike will soon make here merely a memory.

Is that your bike Trip? I saw that on Killboy and it looks great.

I'd definately get the new bike, especially if you didnt get one now you wouldnt be able to for a while. What are you thinkin about getting?

Yeah check this thread

And like Marko said... everybody loves new things, and new mods to do.

Well the decision is the black and blue gixxer. How does that add into everyone's input?

I love that bike...the only one I love more is the darker blue and black 750. Excellent choice.

Especially that one, that blue is really femine looking in person. I would rather the white/gray honday.

I think the white just doesn't look good on that. And the openness of the fairings.

Yeah and I take it the new owner is coming to get it today? You got a good sale price on it?

Things that are suppose to be just happen and for good reason. Don't fight it!

I am just going through presale jitters and I will probably regret not selling if I don't do it.

So what do ya'll think? Getting some tapeworks stickers to cover the red R and the 600 stickers on the bike with yellow. The red is a lot more flourscent than the pic looks, I don't like it. Call it an homage to the SV. Possibly yellow dragon stickers on the same location as the SV.

sounds like you already knwo the changes you want and you dont even have it yet, thats your subconscious telling you to go for it!!

I pulled all the stickers off my gsxr, I dont know if I will put new ones on, but it looks pretty nice with none!
