Might work for Cycle Gear!

I checked my voicemail today and the manager at the Greenville Cycle Gear wants me to come in for an interview. I'm pretty excited, seems to be a cool way to work in the motorcycle scene, plus I can hopefully meet some cool people and talk about bikes all the time. Its like 20 ft away from a motorcycle dealership so I can go drool all over the shiny bikes during breaks! I really hope I get this job so I can work in Sales and get some credentials so I can work in some other motorcycle places when I move to Florida for college in the fall. I WANT this job!

What do ya'll think? Wish me luck!

Good luck! A good friend of mine is the ATL (assistant team lead -- they don't call them "managers" at CG) for our local Cycle Gear. Just be warned, there's some long hours, and the pay isn't great, but the discount is pretty darned good, not to mention you typically know about new gear long before the general public does.

Go for it!

And nice location Saturday, I went to a dealer that was literally right beside an airport. You could watch planes take off while sitting on a bike. And the whole wall of this place was glass!

Went and talked to the dude today. Got an interview at 5 on Saturday. He told me he's trying to get the staff up to 12, he's got 4 right now! But it's lookin good, he told me to bring my Social Security card in case "We decide to roll with it."

Again, I want this job!

Oh my bad fellas!

Well I went to the interview and rocked it, but at the end he told me that he was going to hire 12, but could only afford to hire 8, and he had six and had interviewed the last two he needed right before I got there. But he said if either of them fell through, I'd be who he called first.

It's been a week or so so I'm not too hopeful. Oh well the search continues...
