My old roommate had one... he had a Rev800... pretty sweet... that winter sucked for snow though... and his Jeep was broken down allot so he didn't ride it much... I think he sold it before he moved to CO.

Lots of fun though... if I ever end up in another cold weather base I'm gonna buy one... give me something to do waiting for the riding season to come back

well yes i ride the trails and lakes but i also race alot cosdra, i ride a 98 t0cat 1000 and my dad rides a 98 srx 700 and the 03 xcr 800 is the spare and i also have my old 89 phazer. the t-cat is the fastest stock snowmobile in the world, then the xcr800 and then the srx 700. all above 120mph-127.4 mph is what i had the stock tcat to on the ice, but i have put a speed track on it last month but no snow or ice to ride on any more. i am getting the heads done and the motor completely ported as we type. i 135 on the ice here i come, lol next winter that is.

the xcr has heads done and the motor ported, and the srx has the same with reed spacers and a ton of clutching done to all.

The problem now a days... is that I would have to pull it about 4 hrs north to get some good snowmobile riding in. My father in law lives up north west of Gaylord, MI and it is snowmobile heaven up there. But down here we just don't get enough snow to justify it. I would blow $75 in gas just for the truck for one weekend.

Indiana winters suck. It's freezing cold, but we don't get enough snow to have that kind of fun. Every few years we'll get 12-18 inches at once, but usually we just get 2 or 3 inch dustings, which is useless for snowsports of any kind. I didn't mind winters in Utah because I could at least go skiing or something fun. But cold ass weather with nothing to do...

Surrender the booty, and let me get my hands on that beautiful treasure chest!!

One of these days, I'll actually buy a bike again...
