That guy almost got creamed by the guy doing the passing too...zipped right past him in the same lane. Talk about pucker factor.

"you must be fast, you were haulin a** when I passed you."

I saw another video very similar to this one, where a turbo busa passes an R1 but there were 3 lanes I think... some car traffic, and the guy really gets far too close to the guy he was passing..... thats just stupidity in my opinion.

I call BS on the first bike doing 190 mph.

That first guy was supposedly doing 190, and the second guy passed him doing what looked like at least 30-40mph FASTER than the first guy.

That'd be a stretch even for a MotoGP bike.

I have that vid deep in the catacombs of my laptop under "sport bike vids"

Allways thought either a turbo busa or a slow r1.

By the looks of it, the R1 is doing just about 190. I've been up to that speed before many times.... so...

But that Busa. Damn. That thing looks like it's going another 40mph faster.

i agree...if you watch closely, the rider on the R1 lets off before the busa passes. even w/o braking, wind resistance would still slow you down a lot in that short amount of time.

Keep in mind the announcer said, "indicated 190 MPH." Most likely, the speedo was pretty far off and he was only going 160 or 170. A busa with a TRE could go over 200, so that would make sense.

It takes 180hp to make a busa go 200mph. Sport rider did a wind tunnel testing on litre bikes, let me tell you no realitvley stock bikes makes 180hp even the 14r.

Can you really tell the 30 mph difference from the trees when you are already at that speed????
