Rant: AMA Racers

I would just like to rant about some "pre-madonna" ways of several who will remain nameless AMA racers. They have ruined my Thursday at the office already and its only 11am!!!!!

And no swearing? Its not a proper rant with no swearing. If you need examples of proper rants let me know. There is another forum with a rant section called "Mudpuppys Corner". That is the king of all rant threads and I can send you the link if you need ideas.

I think this is more of quasi name dropping than ranting. IMHO

OK, well then let me dish for you all since you happen to be my internet bike family. We sponsor several AMA racers as most of you know thats my job, to keep them happy with their leathers. First off, we purchase all our freakin leather from Italy, I apoligize in advance to any italians I offend in this email... because its EXTREMELY a pain in the ass to talk to the manufacturers there as it is. Now that I've put that out there, the AMA racers we happen to sponsor, for the most part a great going guys, I had a blast with them this weekend. But then its all back to business at the office. Its simple patch placement, issues... not even sizing!!! I'm sorry but if we make four ****ing appointments with you all weekend to meet with us an you dont want to wear our suits, thats too bad. You are on a sponsored team, you don't get to pick what you wear, and I don't care if you want to wear my leathers or not.... we pay you to wear them, so stfu and wear them!!!!!

Ok, I feel better. People just dont realize what its like to cater to someone and have to go and make changes like its just something simple.

I'm not one to drop competitors names by any means, I stand behind what we produce, 100% Kangaroo Leather produced in Italy, top of the line. The rider actually had a deal with Moto GP to wear their leathers previously however, they had to pay Moto GP to wear them, and they didn't pay Moto GP so Moto GP kicked their ass's off. Its actually a pretty interesting world behind the scenes!
