I actually walked INTO an electric fence once. Some neighbors had a single wire strung on the top of their chainlink fence to keep the dog from jumping up onto it. the wire was also strung across the gate. I opened the gate (friends with their kid and he was in the back yard) and I walked straight into the wire at nose height. Knocked me on my ass.

I actually have tried it, I was working at a pet shop while I was in high school and wanted to see how it fealt. I don't think I would ever put one on my pets.

We have an electric fence. Dogs wont go near it lol, you can hear birds squack too.

We used to mess around this those things all the time when I was young. And yes, most of the time I was sober. You gotta try it at least once in your life time.

Besides, now when I'm shocked by things it doesn't bother me. Although I was shocked by a battery charger not too long ago..that was a bitch.
