Know anything about Ball Pythons?

Ok here is the thing when my wife and I moved in March at one point we loaded our two ball pythons and their cage into the truck of the focus. we had to put other things in that so we then moved them into the beemer. i decided it was a good idea to empty out the water from the bowl ( wasn't thinkin well had been up for 24 hours at work. night crew gotta love it ) i didn't close the cage properly and when we unloaded them a few hours later the baby one was gone. i took everything out of the truck even the carpet and the spare tire, the plastic walls i mean everything, so we thought she was gone now almost 2 months later i open the trunk ( thats how often i bother driving it, i love my bike ) and there she was skinny as h3ll. she drank alot of water, alot. but its been a week now and she still won't eat, any one know what might be the issue i know she probably needs to readjust to her cage again but she should be starving she is only about 7 months old

how big is she? you might have to force feed her....by grabing the sides of the jaws and opening her mouth....place a thaw out "frozen" mouse in her mouth and she will be forced to swallow it.

I had to do this with one of mine.

so she spitting them out......do you have a vet around you that deals with reptiles? if so I seriously recommend taking her to the vet.

I had one die like that...I would have to force feed and a day later it would be spit out.

up here it wasn't much. like less then 50. You might want to try force feeding one more time. make sure it is good and warm...

I had the same problem with my corn snake a long time ago... Fluffy spent almost 3 months living in the wall and came out to the sound of the faucet running... Anyway, give her time... I never had to force feed her, but she did regurgitate a couple mice.

Her body is jacked up from not eating anything for a long time. The water introduced into her system... It might take a couple weeks for her to get fully hydrated... So give her a couple days and go for another pinky...

No matter what, I'd still call the vet.

Keep an eye on her though... Make sure she's poopin' and keep with the pinky's for a while... They are easier to digest because they don't have fur and their bones aren't fully developed. Just step up slowly to more than one... I'd probably go with a single one in about a week... Then jump up to two the following week. After about a month of steady eating, then you can go back to adult mice...
