I agree- De La Hoya pressed the fight the whole time. Mayweather was swinging more- but all his punches were striking Oscars gloves... The rest of the time he was running from Oscar. I think De La Hoya should have gotten the decision. He was tearing Mayweather up on the ropes- Mayweather landed some good shots too- but not as many... Worst case scenario- should have ruled it a draw- But Mayweather definitely didn't win the fight.

Mayweather won and it is no question he won when Delahoya had him on the ropes he looked impressive and threw a lot of body shots but he only would land two or three hits and we all saw that in the replays and as far as running thats how Mayweather always fight if you can't hit him you can't beat him and if you read the stats at the end of each round he lost the whole fight he was landing like 7 out of 16 and his % was like 20 to Mayweathers 40/50% he threw a lot but was not connecting and you could see it on his wife's and his face at the end he knew he really lost he was like oh i thought i won yeah right

Delahoya was robbed... I didn't pay attention to the entire fight (I got to see it for free in a bar about 2hrs later) but every time I looked up He was take'n it to Mayweather...

but what ever... the whole time I just wanted Delahoya to spear tackle him or kick him up side the head... guess I've been watch'n too much UFC

delahoya was swinging but not connecting he's too old do you think if he really thought he had won he would have just taken it lying down like that I would have commented more and made a big fuss sorry dude the old man needs to retire did you see how stiff he was Mayweather was laughing at him no one can compete with the pretty boy I wish it was more action also it was kind of boring I won't be paying for the rematch if it happens

like I said it was when I was looking up... Mayweather just seemed on his heals the entire fight...

I didn't see them announce Mayweather the victor.... so I didn't know Delahoya took it lying down...

the man is 34. thats not old. i dont think either one did a really good job but in order to win a title from a champ you have to beat him and mayweather DIDNT do that in my opinion.

I agree also but if you see the numbers he beat him he didn't beat him bloody but I don't even know how the overall numbers were even close he put on a show and stole a few rounds with body shots at the end of the round but that wasn't enough and mayweather was the challenger but he holds like 5 other belts that enough credit right there to win

enough of that hey anybody know of a bike in north texas for sale

Well if you saw the end and listen to Mayweather's father. He said that he thought Delahoya won off of points. Delahoya had way more punches but like as said before he did not land as many as mayweather. That is where the "running" that Mayweather did won him the fight. That is mayweathers technique. He is too fast and can get out of the way. I personnally think it should have been a draw so we could get a rematch. I don't think either of them did outstanding. But the judges said it Mayweather split decision.....

ehh I don't think it was an exciting enough fight for a rematch... don't think it'd even sell half as much on Pay Per View...
