In mx its called a seat bounce when you rail up the face sitting down and stand up right as your front wheel crests the lip getting you more height, usually only used in super cross or jumps right out of corners. If theres a tabletop or double right out of a corner ill do than and land it sitting down and foreward to roost out into the straight.

Mx bikes dont have a HUGE metal tank for you to slam your tokens against and the pegs are foreward and lower so you hold your weight up a lot with your lower body so its not a strain anywhere in there.

Ah man. Those are fun little bikes. I learned on one..still have it too. Looks like a great place to ride too.

I need to get my bikes up here next year.

Doesn't it feel really wierd going back and forth between street bikes and dirtbikes? It was crazy the first time I got on my dirtbike after I bought the Blast. So light!

You did pretty good considering your bike is not meant for jumping.

Yeah, could be a 250f 426f or a 450f cant tell unless looking up close, the 250f and 450 are virtually identicle bikes except the motor, which is still extreamly hard to tell unless your 5 feet away. Some people cheat and ride 450's in the 125 class.

An expert could tell very quickly, rear tire size, fork size and the size of the exhaust can will give it away. But yeah you have to be right up on the bike to tell that stuff.

All the same only difference between the 05' 450f and 250f is the stock can, everything else looks identical man trust me, coming from a guy thats had and raced BOTH.

Granted specs are slightly different but the only difference in tires and wheels is the 450f is 10mm wider rear.
And yeah you can tell looking at it from 3feet away just like anything else.

I can see only 2 small differences and one almost every racer changes anyways so that takes it out of the equation and another one that companies sell after market parts that change the dezine shape.

Without doing any zooming in photoshop or whatever tell them apart minus these 2 stock differences.

Again this is only compaing the 06 yzf's not even the very similar kxf's and rmz's.

And just to throw it out there the 05 yz450f is still the best year yamaha has ever made.

forks tubes are different sizes but you have to measure to see the 1MM difference.
