Keep a good thought for DJ...

As most of us here know DJ has recently been able to get back onto TWF as well as finally getting a bike and get back into riding, etc. At this point though he may be gone for a bit again. His brother has been involved in a boating accident here in the local area, so right now his priorities are focusing on his family. There aren't a lot of details that I can share right now but he called me tonight and asked me to post up here so everyone wouldn't think he just disappeared or that something happened to him.

Keep him in your prayers and thoughts...when he's able to he'll sign on and reply to this thread with more information.

Thanks all !!

I won't tell, but you just got passed by a Kat !!!

Will do. Good to see you back around here, too. Tell him we're thinking about him.

Surrender the booty, and let me get my hands on that beautiful treasure chest!!

One of these days, I'll actually buy a bike again...

At this point it's very serious so all the support you can offer up will certainly be helpful for him. Thanks all, the TWF family has always been great !

I just heard about a boating accident or something on Fox news @10 here a few minutes ago at the Tri-County boat club in Londonderry township. I don't know if this is the same one or not.

Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

I really hope that he is ok after everything is said and done. Does anyone have a 'fund' set up for him and the family to help pay for expenses?

Peace luv and Jungle 4 eva!

I'm going to call DJ tonight and see about taking a care package over to him and his family so maybe they won't have to cook tonight or one night coming up with everything that is going on.

When I talk to him I'll let him know you're all behind him and I'm sure he'll stop in as soon as he's able. I'm going to talk to him about any type of memorial fund or possibly a memorial ride, once things have settled down a bit for him.

memorial fund/ride...does that mean his brother has passed away then?

I was just there tonight to see him and his wife/kids this evening. He's doing as well as could be expected considering the circumstances. We took him some food so they wouldn't have to worry about cooking and such tonight but overall he's hanging in there.

I mentioned to him about a memorial fund and possible ride to raise money and he liked the idea; he'll post up here when he's ready. He said he appreciates all the support from TWF.

Yes unfortunately his brother did pass away...

maybe we could send some flowers from TWF or perhaps donations if that is preferred. i know this must be a difficult time for DJ. he is such a nice guy, this just breaks my heart.
