Speaking of Thanksgiving...

Carries thread about thanksgiving themes.. , got me thinking.

What kinda interesting traditions do you do on the holiday? The usual go over to parents or inlaws? Always go out to eat? Maybe volunteer at a local resuce mission or something?

We eat way too much food then the day after we always go as a family to cut down our Christmas trees. Then while the wife is decorating the rest of the house I put up lights.

My family tradition has changed over the years. I still don't know where we'll wind up this week.

I always wanted to go out and decorate the house for christmas on thanksgiving day, after dinner. just never did it though. way cool!

Well as I type this, my mom and I are doing the pie baking today. We do this three days before T-Day. We have TONS of fun...Just hangin' and spending some quality time with mom is cool.

I'm cooking T-day dinner this year. Our family isn't the tradional type. We eat, drink, watch football, and can't forget the bathroom humor.

is wrong with you Twisty?

You don't like the 3rd king white meat? It's good for you and a cousin of your favorite, chicken!!!

I eat, I eat, I beg for left overs, I then sleep, sleep, and get up and eat those left overs...yep!! That's it!!

Matt and I always traded holidays with my family and his, T-day at one, X-mas at the other, and then the next year switch, but this year we'll just be at his family's, since my parents split up this year, so I'm not really looking forward to the holidays. I'm with you Twisty this year!
