**** I have the worst luck.

Ok so there is a parade tomorrow for the Miss Missouri pageant and I am planning on driving in it. As soon as I get off of work today I come home, hand wash and hand dry my car. Pull it into the garage and go to a visitation with my parents for a friend's brother who killed himself. After that I don't really do much, watch TV, sit on the computer, till 9:30. At this point I am pretty bored so I go up to sonic and no one is there, make it to the other end of the strip and there are 5 or six of my friends cars at family video. So I pull in and we are all hanging out talking. One guy who is seventeen asks me to go to the gas station across the road and buy him a pouch of red man. No big deal. We get back and everyone is sittin against my car. When I get out a guy named Scott, who i have partied with a couple of times, says "I'm so sorry, I just backed into your car." I get to my car and there is a dent on the drivers side front fender. We decide that it will be better for both of us to have me just go get an estimate tomorrow and he will give me the cash to get it fixed, as opposed to turning it into insurance to deal with. Lucky there was no paint transfer from his red truck to my silver car. I don't think anybody will really notice at the parade tomorrow since there will be girls riding on the back, but still sucks balls.

Long story short, night before a parade I am driving in, a guy backs into my car and leaves dent in front fender. He is going to send me cash once I get estimate.

Once I get my sister's digital camera tomorrow I will post pics.

to hear that. Have fun in the parade, sounds like it's a small dent so hopefully it wont be too bad to repair and wont be noticed in the parade.

That sucks, being told your vehicle got damaged is almost worse than finding out you have herpes.
What kind of car is it? Hope you didn't have a custom paint job, those are insanely expensive to touch up.

Its a silver 2000 V6 mustang. It's really nothin too fancy, but still one of the nicer cars in the high school parking lot so it was fine with me. About the V6, my dad said as my first car he was fine with me getting something that looked nice, but didn't want me to have anything with a V8 in it.

I wish. I could get one for 3500 bucks before install from tmaturbo.com or have a custom one made. If i went custom, it would definitely be a twin turbo. License place would be GT ETER.

Bad luck yes. Worst luck no. I refer you to nts's thread.

Still stinks though.

man if that is your idea of bad luck...you have got another one comin for ya my friend when you get out of high school. 2000 v6 mustang's are cheap too. its not like its an 07 Roush stage III with a mystic paint job.

its never fun having someone hit your car but i wouldn't get so amped up about it.
