Need Advice on new TV

Hey guys so i have $1000 to buy a new HDTV.

I am looking for 32"+ TV (I would luv to have a 42") with excellent picture quality. I will be using it with a PS3 or Xbox 360.

I don't really understand the whole 720p, 1080i or 1080p terminology.

All suggestions are welcome.

thanx

Cheap 32" TV, hmmmmmmmmmm

Honestly for that price I would probably try to find the best tube 1080i television you could. Picture for gaming would be hard to beat in that price range. You would need to fork out a lot more money to get a decent HDTV.

I have a 50 inch TV. Its an RCA DLP and HDTV. It is Rear Projection.
Its has a great picture and looks good when playing games on the wii.

My BEST advice is to go to the store and look at it. Look at the differences in the pictures. I think you need to see the picture before you buy it!

no, 720p, you want at least 1080i if you are going for a decent HD experience with 360/PS3. Go to the store and look at the pictures compared to each other.
