Who's been shafted by ebay latley?

This is my ebay rant today.

I have 23 buys on ebay over the years... rarely use it but sometimes. the first 21 i got exaclty what i ordered. Buy #22 was the first used item. and 23 was new.

#22 was a used ignition for my gf's YZF600R... they said it was a 96' like her bike.. however its a 97+... different connector and 3 wire insted of 4, so i have a useless one now. POS.... but whatever.

#23 ordered new pads and rotors for my truck... they sat in a boxc for a couple months and finally put em on today. POS.... they sent me 4 outside(of the rotor) pads.... trather then the normal 2 outside 2 inside. They have the indicator tabs on the outside in the outside pads and suppossed to be 2 in the middle on the inside pads. I get 4, and the only way to fit em is cut off the indicator tabs. so i had to do that cuz i am metalk to metal on one pad and cant wait weeks for the guy to fix it, and i will not pay shipping to return his F up.

So apparently i need to only order stuff that i know cant be screwed up on ebay...Jackets, gloves etc.

I always did so well on ebay, but screw it ill pay extra now to buy from a good online seller like kneedraggers.com everytime now.

F Ebay( most the time).

You have to be carefull when ordering anything online anywhere. But especially with fleabay because you have people that don't nkow anything creating the ad. Sometimes its a honest F up. I would try to contact the seller and see if you all could rectify the problems. I have sold and purchased thousands of things on ebay. Have had a few problems but nothing major and always resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

with Gas Man... usually you can make a resolution (I have always been able to do so), or even FORCE a resolution if you've been really screwed, contact ebay/paypal and file a complaint if the seller refuses to cooperate...

However Over the years you will learn how to spot a good deal/seller... check feedback... if someone has 5000 positive feedback and another person has the same item for 10 bucks less but only 100 feedback, spend the extra 10 bucks. You're still saving money off of retail in most cases anyways.

Very true... but leaving the stuff on the side for 3 months or whatever isn't a good start....

To add on some occasions people are running the auction for fmily/friends and know squat about what they are selling too.

um, Why buy brake pads off of ebay? Wtf? go to the local napa, and get them.. the medium grade is probaly cheaper then what you paid for and thats not including shipping!

about the ignition, That's a simple mistake, Could possibly be, a Split year. or he typed the year wrong.

any thing is possible.

I have bought over 100 things from e-bay.. every time i got it.. 100% perfect.

I dunno, maybe it's just your luck.

yeah gotta be my luck, and since i had the pads and rotors so long i am not expecting money back, especially since i ground off the tabs to make em fit... just irritating, they guy has like a 99.5% positive and 1200 something score. The ignition i only sopend like 20$ shipped so ill live, gf is just getting one from Yamaha right outta the box now.

and the pads and rotors were less then just 2 rotors... aobut 10$ more shipped then a set of pads at napa. have brembo's on the truck now so just leaving the rotors in a box till next time around when i will swap em then go get life time pads just to make a shop deal with me wearing em out every few years.
