Just used JC motors and they're top notch
. Bike got here on the deadline in perfect condition. They tie it down and cover it with a cover you get to keep afterwards. The seller doesn't have to do a thing except be home to sign the paper and unlock the steering on the bike.
My driver was flexible about being there after noon but they stressed a couple times the importance of being available between 8 - 5 on the day of delivery.
They tell you a couple days beforehand when they're going to bring it to your house and that's when I told them to please make a note that I can't be home before noon. The driver called me about 1 pm and asked if I was ready. Got here a half hour later, no BS, just dropped of the bike, said nice bike and left.
The bad; They refuse to take ANYTHING with the bike other than the bike itself. No paperwork, keys, box of parts, extra anything. The bike gets strapped to the pallet and that's the end of that.
This complicated getting the title and keys from the owner, causing him to have to pay out of pocket to get me both on 2nd day air shipping.
You're going to pay 600 bucks flat. They wouldn't knock anything off the price even though the seller agreed to bring the bike 45 minutes away from his house to their shipping facility.
If I ever ship another bike, I'll be using them.
edit; someone else recommended uship to me. They have a nice site which hooks you up with tons of drivers. The thing is, no one gave me a quote cheaper than jc motors and most used open trailers where as JC uses closed trucks to protect the bikes. Those were dealbreakers for me.
