Our Harley shop in town is having a ride to pick up the Vietnam Wall into town. Didn't know if anyone close to my area (toledo) would be interested. I'm prolly going provided my bike likes me that day. But they're having breakfast at the dealership at 9am on Aug 16th for the riders then we'd leave to go down to North Baltimore to pick up the Wall.
The ride is free and open to any and all bikes.
Below is more information: the first one takes a lil while to load....but that might just be my comp
We left the Harley dealership with over 1000 bikes...mostly hondas and harleys but there were 5 sport bikes and a few cushmans. We stretched over 4 miles and they shut the road down it was pretty sweet seeing nothing but motorcycles in front and behind you. When we left north baltimore after picking up the wall we had over 4000 bikes! this time we stretched over 10 miles. I got to ride in front of the wall with the veterans becasue the guy i was riding with was a vet and he said i was his daughter . But it was so cool watching everyone on the side of the road with flags signs and their hand over their heart when we passed. They were all allong the rout we took. There was one lady on horseback that troted across a side street with a flag when we passed. (too bad we cant show that much pride in our country and military all year long ) But when we got back they said this was the first time they had never had a breakdown or wreck while traveling.
