Radio ads for TMI personal products and services...

I've noticed radio ads have gotten more and more... well... bizarre and dare I say TMI lately (Is it REALLY necessary to run radio spots for male.. er... excitement creams? )... but this one takes the cake:

The last few weeks, the alt-rock radio station here has been running ads for beoming a Surrogate mother. HUH??? The first one was a young woman talking about poor, unfortunate couples who can't have children, and how she's able to give them this great gift. Ok, odd, but not totally over the top.

But there's a new one airing today, that just had me It's a married woman talking about bearing children for other couples, and how her husband looks at her in a new light because of her generosity "Which is something I really didn't expect...." ( Umm... wouldn't it be wise to discuss all aspects of this with your husband before carrying another couple's child??)

I have nothing against surrgoacy... it's a wonderful thing, I'm sure, for couples who are unable to conceive. But it's just such an utterly bizarre thing to ADVERTISE on the radio...

All radio stations suck, none of them play good music, its all commercialized bubble gum crap, even the heavy rock stations play crap. Oh and the commercial adds are even worse. I listen to one station and one station only XM channel 42 Liquid Metal.

I don't disagree with that, and I USED to listen to streaming XM at work, but they've blocked streaming radio (too many people were doing it, it was slowing things down, blah blah blah... ). So I'm stuck with regular radio or CD's, dammit.
