go out to my bike this morning....

so i go to my bike this morning to find it less 2 parts....the drivers seat and the battery i just dont get people? i had my helmet locked onto the bike but heard thunder so i ran out and got that thank god too cause if they stole my helmet i woulda been even more pissed than i am, if thats possible.....whenever i stay at my girlfriends house i leave it on the street where we know all the neighbors and nothing has happened, i know it was one of the 16-19 year olds that hang out on the corner that have nothing better to do and have no jobs so they steal and vandalize other people ****

so i have been ridin my bike since my truck needs and alignment that i was gonna get when i get back from vaca (21st) but now i have to get a seat and battery too....

anyone know a good place to get a seat/battery at a good price for a 98 cbr 900rr?

thanks and 200 bucks to anyone who gives information leading to the ass kicking of the party responsible

Ask a local kid on the block to ask around- kids will always brag about what they stole/did... they might not talk to you about it but they will talk to eachother.

After you find out for sure which punk is responsible- have the local kid draw him out in the open- put on a ski mask and kick his ass to the point that he will never forget it. Mention you hate thieves as he fades in and out of conciousness... then walk away before removing the ski mask.

This will not only teach him that there are consiquences but will also let him know it was you who kicked his ass yet he wont be able to prove it.

Not a bad idea, but I'd find em, then instead of beating em, publicly humiliate them, then take em to the police and let the law handle em.

Agreed, it's not worth having charges filed against you by some punk kid for slapping the taste out of his mouth. He's not worth too much of your time. Although it would feel really good to break his face.

That sucks! Does your seat require tools to get it off? Also wouldn't the kids need tools to disconnect the battery?

I know its easily possible... my older bros friend had it happen one time when they were playing basketball at a school many years ago. The guy left the window down and when they went to leave the hood was not shut all the way... someone stole the battery.

Follow this plan, but offer $100 to the local kid and you will find the person who did it.

yup. reward for information leading to the arrest of the person. if they're underage, deal with their parents, and maybe suggest that he could work off the damage done to your bike. I'm sure you've got some task or other that is low and degrading needing done.

ok im gonna answer all your questions in one....

all the kids are "cool with each other" so they wont give up any info except the one kid i know.....so i have a plan for tonight.....

i moved the bike across the street and parked my girls car with 5% tint all around behind it with enough room to fly out of the spot without hittin the bike and im gonna sit in it all night and hopefully these idiots will come back tonight to either laugh or look to see if i got it fixed and when i see someone stop/slow down/or look funny (theres no reason at 3-4-5 in the mornin to stop in the middle of the street to stare at a bike) im gonna hop out the car yell something and if they run im gonna hit them with my bat (wood or metal cant decide) and pin them down while my girl calls 911 and i scream and yell to wake up the whole neighborhood so they see him and dont let him get away......i mean it may sound far fetched but i think its my closest bet

and threaten him till he tells me where he took it or have him arrested, his choice....and if they are in a car and run i will hop in my girls car which is strategically placed and take off after them, call the cops and tell them i just pulled up and saw someone stealing the seat and battery and when the cops pull them over and didnt find the battery or seat ill say i saw them throw it out block back and go back and show the cops my bike, and even if they dont get arrested ill see them and look for them in the future

sounds intricated but i want REVENGE!!!!! and thank you to who said theyd help me

hahaha omg thats horrible...thanks for the linky

as for tools needed to get the seat off its 2 bolts in the back and 1 in the front of the seat...i didnt have any on but i think thats sorta of better cause if they wanted the battery that bad and didnt have the tools they might have wrecked the bike to get to it ya know? also all you need is a phillips head to get the battery disconnected
