This weekend

I have a pretty jam packed weekend planned so far.

Friday I leave work early around 12:30 and go to an appointment at this potential vocational school im thinking about enrolling in. After that I pick up my rental car and drive to Philly to met my friend for an Orchestral concert. I believe its the Phildelphia Phillharmonic or something. They are playing a lot of Tchaikovsky (including the 1812 Overture). After the concert I am driving us both up to NY for the night. Saturday I am going to the Rock the Bells hip hop festival to see Rage Against the Machine and a bunch of hiphop legends! Really excited about that. Sunday is a day of rest until I drive home from NY and then Monday evening I am going to see Marilyn Manson and Slayer! I am so going to be sick of music by the end of this weekend

Anyways, depending on what time we get to NY on Friday night, I might be going out in the City. any suggestions on hot spots to go? Ive been to the Village before and that was fun but that was a while ago. And Sunday I am going to probably have lunch in Queens. Anyone on here going to be in NY this weekend?

So wow... brief summary of my weekend

1. Philly orchestra was pretty good, not nearly as good as the National Symphony orchestra but good
2. Went to a trendy restaurant in Philly called Continental Midtown or something like that... very trendy and kind of boring but OMG the eye candy was worth it all! our table was on a lower section and the waitresses were all wearing short skirts, one of the waitresses kept bending over one of the other tables, yeah... I saw everything!
3. got to NY around 4am, no parking, drove for about a half hour and finally found parking
4. Rock the Bells was great, got there a little too early and shoudl have waited until early evening but oh well... Rage Against The Machine ROCKED! GOD I forgot how good they are live! Tom had some sounds problems and the band as a whole had a few little meshing problems with tempo and what not but all and all they were amazing! they played all my favorites (vietnow, killing in the name of, know your enemy, etc.)
5. rained in NYC on sunday but went to lunch in Little Italy at a place called Da Nico. Great chicken Marsala.
6. Drive home sucked
7. get home and the power is out because of the storms
8. Now I am at grandma's about an hour from home doing laundry and getting ready to sleep.

All in all I give the weekend a 7, only reason it is that high is because Rage Rocked!

Tomorrow night is Manson and slayer, really excited aobut that! And I pick up my jeep with the lift and everything installed!

MaNson was amazing and you can take all the pics you like, at least at the venue I went to. it was GREAT!

Im not going to tell you all the props he used on stage cause i dont want to ruin it for you but there is one scene in particular taken practically right out of one of his videos and i was in awe when he did it cause I thought it was the coolest thing ever!

enjoy the show. I know I did
