My dream car is a 72 Monte Carlo 350 small block. year I was born and for some reason that car gives me wood evertime I see it. but money is no object then I would by the BMW 735.clean agressive and is just plain gorgeous. vands buy the 72 at the same time, you know package deal.

If money was no object I'd own both but if I have to pick just one...exotic car for me.

Now as far as which one...not sure but theres a few I really like...Lambo...Saleen S7...Enzo...Carrera GT...the list goes on.

Hmmm..... I like some of both (but they've gotta be classics, not "new skool" muscle).

I'm a huge fan of anything Porsche (except the Boxster )... TVRs, Jags, and the occasional Ferrari.....

Ultimate dream car, however, would be a 1958 Porsche 356 convertible... in charcoal grey or silver, with the little luggage rack on the back. *sigh* (and for a mere $250K or so, a fully restored one can be mine! )

Carrerra GT is all I'd ever want or need. To me it doesnt get any better. Its somthing like 5lbs/hp. Not many cars can top that.

There are reasons for why I like both

I like Exotics because they are flashy, make the panties drop, expensive, you get a lot of performance out of them, very fun to drive, rare

I Like Muscle cars because for the most part they are cheap, the raw power you get from the factory is amazing, you have unlimited aftermarket for these machines that allows you to pretty much make them look like anything and do anything, the nastalgia, the fact that they are not made anymore, the cult following these old cars have from people who grew up having them and passing along the love and passion to their offspring, the bad ass persona associated with them (when I think of muscle cars I think of tattooed guys wearing all black and smoking a cigarette flipping off the cops as they fly by at 100+)...

In a perfect world I would say I would own at least a couple of each but for arguments sake I say the old school muscle car...

I do have a soft spot for old Rust... er... MUSTangs... and a '68 Camaro SS Convertible (white w/orange stripes) would make a sweet weekend/play car.

Or for about 25-50K you can have a replica that looks and performs as well,, if not better, than the original.

Ohhhh Believe me, I know..... Haven't ruled that out. Saw a gorgeous replica in SoCal a couple years ago....seriously couldn't tell it wasn't the real deal. I guess it came from a co. here in FL where you can get them for about $20K.

Yup, I could rock that, too.

I also would eventually like an old Beetle, flat black, slammed, pin-stripes - rat-rod style.

All I want is this TVR Sagaris. Big V8, no anti-lock brakes, no traction control. Oh and British Racing Green!

Being realistic i would say my dream car is a lotus exige. However, I am a fan of both types of car although exotics would almost always out corner the muscle car.

You should have made the thread about newer muscle cars versus ricers.

Gimme a few years... first priority is a NEW convertible (ruled out the TT, considering a 350Z ).

(LMAO... what are ya like 6'6" or somethin? The lil Porsche IS a tiny thing!)
