Katanapilots Retirement Plan

Well this might be a little shock to you guys, but KP is hanging up hs helmet for good this time around, I got some stuff for sale for the time being, and as soon as every thing gets sold www.katkrew.com will go with it too. I would like to thank every one that I meant thru the years and all over the state, but this mishap has put me in a different state of mind on this riding thing, call it as you may but I will miss you all.

Thanks too all!!

I don't agree, if he thinks he needs to be off the bike, that is what he needs to do. If I ever doubted my riding a motorcycle was worth it, I would sell all my stuff and be done with it as well. It's highly dangerous to be on one of these things and if for one second I didn't think the risk was worth the reward, I would stop as well.

I didnt disagree with that I was mainly saying he didnt have to miss us by leaving TWF.

The was mainly cuz he just had his wreck n is all busted up atm. He may after he heals up he may think differently and if not, he made completely understandable n responsible dicision.

I don't know if I would hang around here either if I decided to hang the helmet up. Too tempting around here.

Takes more balls to admit something you love isn't for you than it does to mindlessly hop right back on. I respect the decision totally.

Maybe get into fast cars? Not quite the thrill but much safer. Keep us updated.

Thats tough to hear. From the sounds of it you have had a rough year. But you have got to do what right. Thanks for having enough balls to say "enough". Maybe you can pull a gasman in the years to come. Or perhaps it is time to put it all behind you. Good luck on whatever you decide and thanks for your past posts.

You will be back
Back in 1984 while racing my Honda 1100F on freeway, slipped on my seat missed hitting wall by 1/2 inch at over 135 MPH Sold my bike, swore I would never buy another motorcycle.
Took two years then bought 1986 ninja 1000R

well, it sucks in a way that you've decided to give up riding, but its your choice, and thats cool in my book.

I wish you the best in whatever you choose to do to occupy yourself. what counts is what makes you happy.
