Rant
I don't know about you guys, but I spend most of my TWF time on the front page since it's got all of the most recent topics. And after posting on a couple I will just refresh it to see the next new ones. The only problem I have is that I HATE having to open up the thread and then hit last page, unlike how when you are in the forums part you can jump automatically to the last page.

Rant over.

I never surf from the main page. I have the forums page bookmarked, and when I come back, I simply hit "New posts" and read the board from there.

first I do user cp, I have it set to give me subscriptions to any thread I post in. Reply to those then go to new posts.
Another tip - switch to 50 posts per page, saves a lot of time and makes browsing the forum easier. It's a little slower if your connection is slow or you're browsing the threads I've destroyed with pictures.

I'd have to agree on that one. I just hit New Posts under your name and avatar on the left hand side. Though I am part of another forum where the last post is the first, that's actually kinda cool. Whole forum reads like an email when you forward it, gotta go to the last page to get the first, original comment.

i never knew about the arrow until a while back but it makes it much easier to surf instead of having to click the thread, click last page...
